About APOUL

Small tools, made by one studio.

APOUL is an independent studio in Japan. We build software for the parts of a working day that are quietly annoying — hunting for something you copied, splitting a PDF, reading text off a photo, tracking attendance, checking a recipient before you send. Under the name MiyabiBase we also publish gaming videos, original music and character work.

What we work on

Two kinds of work.

Apps for everyday work

Eleven apps, all in preparation for release. Each is scoped to one annoyance so it stays learnable in a few minutes.

Systems for real workplaces

Attendance, approvals, month-end close and the plumbing around them — designed from how the work actually runs, not from a feature checklist.

How we work

Say what the software does. Nothing more.

A few rules we hold ourselves to.

No feature theatre

If something is not built yet, the site says so. “In preparation” means exactly that.

Small scope, finished well

We would rather ship one thing that works than five that almost do.

Plain language

Pages describe what changes for you, not the internals.

Who runs this site
APOUL. We develop software that reduces everyday work, and publish videos and character work as MiyabiBase. For anything about the site or the apps, please use the contact page.
